So in our house talk about weight and size of people is restricted because i don't want my kids having body issues or judging people by their appearance..... Trae has always been so accepting of people, he has never judged anyone or talked about how people are different. In fact last year he had an asian boy in his class, on the first day of school he came home and said that he had the coolest boy in his class, said that he ran as fast as dash incredible and that he could run that fast because he didn't have to waist all his energy keeping his eyes wide open!! To him everyone is awesome!!!

Mace on the other hand is not that way. All of the sudden she is always talking about how eating too many treats makes you have a big butt, then she mentions a name of someone who has gotten a big butt from eating too much. So last week she said she couldnt be this ladys friend because she has a big butt and proceeds to tell me she doesnt like her and she wont talk to her, (which might cause a problem cause she is one of her teachers) And this teacher really is not big. So i am once again learning that for one all kids are so different, and have so many different needs, and for two not everyone is born to be accepting and kind it is something we have to be taught. Wish me luck on my teaching!! Honestly i am just dying.

Being that our boys have b-days a few days from each other we decided to celebrate with one big slip-n-slide of a party!! Trae turned 6 and is sooooo grown up. have i ever said that i absolutely love this boy? with trae the cup is always half full, im not sure he feels he has ever had a bad day, when asked about his favorites he says " everything is my favorite!!" . He wakes up at the crack of dawn so he can beat the sun, he rarely tires out and everyone is his friend, even people in other cars at stop lights. He loves rainbows and hates tornadoes( has never seen one but asks with every storm if one will be comin). he will someday drive a yellow camero with black stripes and his favorite word is SWEET! he is fine not tasting strawberries or eggs untill he is a dad and wants to have 50 billion kids like on horton hears a who. he is currently not kissing girls so he can save all his kisses for me and aunt cami has been specifically warned to not call him her boyfriend if anyone is around- he is going to FREAK OUT if she does. Favorite food is frenchies and fish ( "mom, why does fish have to be so freaking good????). i love this boy.

Jax turned one. Otherwise known as DUDDER. only responds to dudder. Loves loves loves outside, and his meow. Is the most affectionate of the three, does not like being in trouble and climbs everything.... including slides at playgrounds. by himself. and goes down by himself. he never cries even if he is bleeding, he is always chill and just happy to be here. will eat an entire watermelon if allowed. loves music, his dad and anything soft. not scared of anything other than strangers. Gives high fives all day, wants to ride traes bike like yesterday and is already Big. By far he has grown up the fastest, he is independent and our first to have patients( which i do not have in my dna). He is really strong and like to strengthen his muscles by pushing the kitchen table and chairs across the kitchen and would push mace in the flinstone car for days. amazing is not even an explanation for the way i feel about these kids.

ok so here i am walking out of target looking for my car. for a brief moment i could not remember what i drove- as i unlocked my door and hopped in i sat there for a moment. I all of the sudden realized that i am 28yrs old with three kids and a suburban. The suburban belongs to me.... not my mom. years ago i vowed i would not drive a "mom" car. Weird i know but i was suddenly freaking out!! Like i finally had a moment to myself to think and i JUST realized that i am gettin OLD!!!!

Trav did so well at his first snowmobile race!!! It was fun to see him enjoying something he loves- was hard to have baby out for too long so we mostly swam at the pool, but we were there to witness his 2nd place victory!!! Good job babe!!!

so three has actually been easier than two, but as we all know the economy has put everyone in a pickle. We are in construction so... not much work. but luckily we have our salon, and i have been blessed with all kinds of work!! So Mr. Mom took over for a few months and i slaved away:) I can't even explain how turned on a girl gets when her husband is baking cookies for Santa and cleaning( he even vacuum's behind the fridge every time). Although i was a little tore up that yes, he is a better house wife than me. Oh well, i have other strong points right!! So now i am caught up on the blog and work has started picking up for him:)

We also added tanning to the salon as well as eye lash tinting and perming! We have a high performance bed and are open whenever so give us a call!!

all of these snowmobile fanatics decided to take the wives on a day trip- we snowmobiled in to this little restaraunt called the hidden lake lodge and we had a nice lunch! I had the best day, after crossing the resavoir i think i am more brave... this trip i learned to climb hills:) good luck leaving me home now...

trav gave an unbelievable blessing.... not sure there was a dry eye in the chappel- it is so nice to see a spiritual side to guys, we all know they have it in them but when it creeps out on occasion it sure puts things into perspective. thanks to all who supported our fam this day:)

my little macer monster is now three going on twenty one- ya i remember people saying this about their kids but honestly did not think they were serious... 8 a.m. driving to the bank she says " ohhhhh mommmm um i forgot to put on my make up" she was so serious with open mouth and hand covering it. Next day, again in the car "dad... hand me my FREAKING lipstick" repeated ten times so snottily. Walking past Victoria's secret in the mall, she drags me in jumping up and down begging to get her more sparkly lip stick and mascara ( ya embarrassed to say my then two year old knows about mascara. and applies it perfectly. mouth open head tilt and all. She takes perfect sections when putting extensions in her clients hair, polishes great(sadly better than me), and can totally hold her own! i love this little thing and she is always keeping me on my toes! Happy Birthday sis:)

Wow 8yrs have gone by really fast!!! I am greatfull to be married to such a wonderfull man, who would have thought that after only dating three months we would still be together!! trae LOVES kindergarten at woodland hills!! he is a character, he got name tag from his teacher and next to his name was a grasshopper sticker. he was told to find the desk and cubby to match the grasshopper sticker, he started jumping up and down in front of his teacher and said" How did you know i love grasshopperrs" and if you know trae you can just hear the excitement in his voice!

A week after jax was born we headed to the cabin for some time away and a lot of serious granny 911. After a long pregnancy i needeed help with my wild kids- and grandma came to the rescue!! They are both doing great now thanks to her ground rules:) But of course it wasn't all work and no play... We played on the lake and rode 4 wheelers, we even went to yellowstone to see the bears. I have decided this should be a quarterly tradition!!

I was working on saturday and as i was finishing my last client i realized i hadn't heard mace in a while so i start looking for her, after about five minutes later i found her acrossed the road and down the street in a neighbors backyard having lemonade. Well her dad was watching her and obviously fell asleep. I was REALLY mad so i told her to go downstairs and wake him up so mommy could talk(yell) at him. Ten minutes later i came down to find this- so cute i wasn't even mad anymore!! Lucky save trav:)

tee ball was so fun this year!! Trae actually got into it and thought every game was AWESOME!!! he would hit the ball and run as fast as his runt legs would let him and when he stopped he would yell to the coaches" Did i hit it so hard? that was sweet huh!!" such a character. Traesen is always keeping me on my toes, here are a few of the most recent incidents:
-taking golf tees from walmart without his dad even knowing
-at the bank, in the drive thru he decides he is done and gets out of the car
-stealing medical bracelets from walgreens
-stealing a car from preschool
-driving the stolen preschool car all over the hood of my car to cause massive scratching
-calling 911 just to see what happens...
All of these adventures have occured in a 24 hour period, pray for me.

Viva Las Vegas

For travs 30th b-day i surprised him with tickets to vegas, we stayed at the Paris and this was the view out our hotel room window. It was so beautiful, when you woke up and opened the blinds you really felt you were in paris. At night we could lay on our bed and watch the light show at the bellagio, it was very romantic. We had such a great time together, we went to The Price Is Right and a hypnatist show, we layed at the pool, did some shopping and held hands the entire time. It is so crazy what a weekend without kids and responsibility will do to a couple. Anyway we had a blast and are very thankfull to g-ma cherie and kim for watching the kids while we were gone.

ok so we watch allie a couple times a week while kim cuts hair in the salon, and as i have posted we have been potty training. Maycee decided one lovely afternoon to take allies diaper off and help her pee in the potty(only this is a doll potty)!! She peed they wiped and there wasnt even a mess on the floor. I am still laughing...

This potty chair for dolls has now officially been hidden because now everytime allie comes over she feels the urge to pee in it, ohhh funny times!!!

The other day i took the kids to the river to feed the ducks and when trae saw the temple he in his most serious voice says"mom, when i marry allie in the temple will you sing I AM A CHILD OF GOD because it is my most favorite song" He cracks me up!! almost every picture we have of these two this is the position they are in.

So a few weeks ago maycee decided she would potty in the potty chair!!! And thats all it took- hasn't had an accident since! Wow girls reallly are much easier than boys!!

So its officially a boy! we had another ultrasound and we saw "proof" of his manhood! so we couln't be more excited! Need lots of help with cute boy names, i know we still have a while but any input would be fabulous:)

Happy birthday Maycee!! Yesterday was maycees second birthday- she is such a wonderfull and beautifull little girl. She brings soooo much joy into our lives....

Maycee loves to play pretend all day, she makes me hot chocolate and cooks it in her microwave(the cabinets in the fam room) she washes my hair and fixes it pretty, she says her babys are always crying and its buggin her, she has perfected the art of bugging her brother and making him cry, she has her dad wrapped in her pretty blonde curls and informed me that she wants horsies, kitties, quack quacks and doggies for her presents! She is a woman on a mission and always know exactly what she wants. She is very independent and is always(Doing it myself). A typical outfit for maycee is shirts on her legs with her dads swim suit a tutu and one of trae's shoes. And she prances around like she is walking the runway! i hope she never changes and i enjoy every single minute i have of being her mom.

Double the upgrade

Well all of you who know us well know that we were done having kids, so a few months ago i had a little upgrade. It turned out we were not done- heavenly father has other plans for the sewards! We have yet to enjoy the upgrades:) Wish trav luck!!!

This is a random picture but as i was downloading pictures i ran into it and it made me laugh, so trav was being secretive about something and i couldn't figure out what he had put on his truck. So as we are all pilling in the truck a few days later this HUGE and LOUD tip totally gave him away!! Trae says "I like your new pipe dad, it is sweet" and he thought i would never notice-boys and their toys!

The kids had fun dressing up in different costumes- trae switched between thomas the train and spiderman, and maycee was a pink dragon and batman(with hello kitty hot pink slippers on!!!). Trae didn't get out of his costume until sunday morning, he even slept in it! They are highly entertaining, we had a great halloween:)
